An outstanding view across a spectacular geological valley where a glimpse of a deer or goat is common place – describes the privacy and isolation of the lodge accommodation.
The main lodge is set amongst a bush setting and houses the communal kitchen and lounge area, a perfect wilderness lodge feel with an open log fire where the talk of the day’s adventure is retold while the meals are prepared.
Modern warm, carpeted cabins with hot showers and efficient wood burners provide a place to rest after your day. Meals are in keeping with the setting, as you might expect, game is frequently on the dinner menu. A hearty breakfast starts the day for whatever pursuit awaits. We can arrange specific food requirements to meet all tastes and preferences and encourage you to BYO beverages to enjoy at your leisure.
On a clear evening the sky is a brilliant array of stars with the calls of New Zealand’s native owls and Moreporks providing a night-time serenade. In the morning you will awake to the dawn chorus of New Zealand’s unique Tui and Bellbird.
The lodge is yours for exclusive use when you book an adventure with us and can sleep up to 14 people per night.
